Olympic and Paralympic Mascot – Paris 2024
For the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Gédéon was entrusted with bringing La Phryge, the iconic mascot, to life on the global stage. Over the course of four years, Gédéon wrote and produced several animated films and campaigns to communicate on different topics.

The campaign is a series of 6 engaging videos that promoted eco-friendly practices during the Olympic Games. These videos have been produced in different formats, in English and in French, and have been released on social media and in stadiums.
Using a humorous sports commentary style, we showcased La Phryge’s eco- friendly actions as if they were athletic feats, encouraging audiences to adopt small changes for a greener future.
The unveiling of the mascot is a key moment for Olympic Games fans. A few weeks before, social media was abuzz with speculations and assumptions about it. To build anticipation, we imagined short animations, revealing only the feet of the two mascots, Oly and Para, playfully tapping on the ground to show their impatience.
Then, for the big day, we produced a film to reveal the mascot and showcase its connection to a key element of France’s history : the Phrygien hat that is so important to the past and the present of the country.
Paris 2024 needed more that 40,000 volunteers for the Games. So, they decided to create an animated video for the recruitment of these unsung heroes of the Games. With a team of script writers specializing in animated films, we imagined 4 amusing volunteer stories, each playfully showing just how chaotic things could get without their help!
When the France TV sales house team wanted a fresh way to spotlight the Games’ official partners, the Paris 2024 team sent them our way! France TV wanted to rethink the traditional approach of a series of billboards. So, Gédéon created a lively short story where La Phryge effortlessly jumped between partner universes, showing off each one in a lively and dynamic way.
Released just before the opening and closing Ceremonies, the film was a huge success.
For Actimel, one of the Games’ sponsors, Gédéon produced light-hearted animated content, seamlessly integrating the mascot into their TV advertising campaign.
