    USHUAÏA TV – GLOBAL REBRANDING

    The French channel Ushuaïa TV has been exploring the beauty of our planet for years in a bid to make viewers aware of the need for environmental preservation.

    Ushuaïa needed to make sure their on-air identity and branding was bright, modern and rhythmic. We delivered this by making use of a beam of light, that catches the viewer’s attention and gives off an impression of elevation and ascension and that also creates a positive, vibrant and lively atmosphere.

    The burst of light remains the stimulus; it embodies the beating heart of the brand and the richness of the content. It is softer, more fluid and immediately evokes a positive atmosphere through its upward movement.

    All of the page layouts have been designed with the digital world in mind. This 360° design has been applied to the whole branding, from the ad breaks to the thematic openers. The whole look is not only consistent with, but was created with the concept of easy adaptability to the digital in mind.

    What guided our thinking was the desire to create lively ad breaks that can be refreshed daily and very easily by Ushuaïa TV’s internal team through the template we provided by just changing the images to showcase special events or programs.

    The gradual unveiling of the thematic openers draws the attention of the viewer and keeps them intrigued to see the premium images that are going to appear.
