    HISTOIRE TV – GLOBAL REDESIGN

    Histoire TV is a French thematic TV channel, that showcases reliable, informative and exciting history television.

    We capitalized on the letter ‘H’ for the logotype.

    The ‘H’ expands and becomes a cursory timeline which gives a sense of temporality to the channel. It expands and contracts to introduce and display features and pieces of information adding to the grandeur of Histoire TV.

    It is an iconic marker; an extremely stand-out sign that allows the brand to be recognizable regardless of its mode or medium of expression.

    We chose red to express leadership and power, which perfectly suits the premium nature of the channel. This red works particularly well with black and white images, and stylises, modernises and enhances the programmes.

    Thanks to a centered design, the trailers are adapted for all screens and formats, this 360° design thinking means that everything is adapted to the digital world.

    The trailers are punctuated by the animation of the slick sign animation that opens, shows and frames important information.

    For the thematic openers we played on the background materials and the typography.

    The 3D effect gives the feeling of jumping out at the viewer, whilst simultaneously inviting them to take notice and take an interest in what is happening on Histoire TV.

    For the ad breaks, we kept the idea of the ‘H’ graphic sign being transformed into a museum of the future that reveals objects or video images from the past in the form of holograms.

    We provided a template that allows Histoire TV team to refresh the ad breaks to showcase upcoming programmes or to feature interesting events happening on air.
