VRT CANVAS – GLOBAL REBRANDING
After working with Belgium’s VRT on the rebranding of VRT 1, we were chosen to design the new image for VRT Canvas; two different channels with different personalities: VRT 1 is playful and surprising; while VRT Canvas is premium and daring.

Canvas is all about content: documentaries, current affairs, culture and humor; so its logo had to be able to encapsulate all these features. The best way to express this relationship between the brand and its content was through the idents.

Since VRT 1 and VRT Canvas are brothers with different personalities, we decided to keep the same mechanics throughout the whole system. The tune-in information is placed on the translucent and responsive island.
