Dormir au courant – Rebranding
Dormir au courant – the trending news sharing account on social media – reached out to us to ask if we would deliver their rebrand, having noticed our long-standing work for major news brands.
Of course, we jumped at the opportunity!
The challenge was to bring Dormir au Courant to the next level of professional news, without losing its familiarity to its nearly 1 million followers. It’s exactly the type of challenge we love – and we’re grateful to have worked on this project – which proves that the boundaries between high-quality traditional and digital news no longer exist.

Keeping the concept of sleep was essential, so the three Zs remain at the core of the design. We reshaped the logo while integrating new elements that reflect both news and digital culture.
We introduced a sense of motion by letting the Zs slide, evoking the endless scrolling characteristic of social media feeds. To top it all off, we added a cursor beneath the Zs to instantly reinforce the logo’s digital character.

We also worked on the guidelines of the layouts for social media posts, with the challenge of finding technical solutions to create templates quickly and directly on a smartphone. It was interesting intertwining creativity and technology throughout the entire media production process.
